TRESU - Approved net-Zero targets

We are happy to announce that TRESU now has an approved net-zero target and we are now featured on SBTi’s website together with other companies also having a net-zero targets.

Science-based targets provide companies with clearly-defined paths that help them reduce their planet-harming greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the goals laid down in the 2021 Paris Agreement. Concrete, actionable targets agreed by independent scientific consensus are an important backbone for effective climate protection action.

On Tuesday 17th June TRESU received official notification that the Science Based Targets initiaitive has verified TRESU’s 2050 net-zero science-based targets and this means that our goals are verified to comply with our planned trajectory to limit global warming to 1.5 degr C above pre-industrial levels.

TRESU commits to reducing scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 54.6% in 2033 and to reducing scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 32.5% in 2033 from a 2023 base year. Furthermore, SBTi has verified TRESU’s net-zero science-based targets by 2050.
