TRESU Agitators: Mix & Match!

TRESU’s new upgraded line of agitators is designed to manage dispersion and minimize micro-foaming and are indispensable tools in the flexo printing industry, given the TRESU agitators’ ability to minimize micro-foaming, maintain stable product uniformity, and ultimately a critical part of securing the quality of a printing process with less waste.

With all WB inks, coatings and adhesives there is a risk of producing micro-foam - especially at broad printing surfaces or at large volumes. But by properly and efficiently managing the dispersion of inks, coatings, and other media, TRESU agitators offer consistent media product quality, reduced risk of micro-foaming and a uniform quality when mixing 2 products and preventing sedimentation.

TRESU’s range of agitators includes the choice between a pneumatic or an electric agitator and the choice between a very efficient 3D engineered impeller or a durable stainless steel impeller for food packaging applications. All combinations are available, so customers can mix and match to find the right solution.

Pneumatic agitators harness compressed air to generate motion, making them appropriate for use in environments where safety or cleanliness are paramount. However, they can not be used for packaging for the food industry, since the oil to lubricate the motor is not food approved.

Electric agitators rely on electric motors to power their movement and are typically more energy-efficient and versatile in terms of speed and torque control.
